This is a cable only item to allow users who have previously purchased an HDMI converter PCB that is fitted with the audio connector, but was not supplied with the cable – usually purchases direct from China via Ali

This cable takes line level audio from the Stern Spike II CPU Carrier Node PCB and routes it to the Audio In connector on the HDMI converter board, so that the stereo audio from the pinball machine can be encoded onto the HDMI Stream from the CPU Carrier board

We have optional audio output kits that allow line level audio to be captured, direct from the Spike II motherboard,  using either 2 x XLR Unbalanced outputs, or a stereo 3.5mm jack (all panel mounted) and these were used to capture the game audio in the video – mechanical sounds from the pinball machine (flippers, bumpers etc) were captured using one of the cameras and therefore their levels could be tweaked down independently from the game audio
