Join the world of pinball streamers with this kit as it allows you to access the video output from the Stern Spike II mainboard and convert the video feed to HDMI format, suitable for direct capture or feed into a video streaming system or a capture device (USB/Card etc). This will allow you to directly output the Stern Pinball LCD display feed, to your capture device, so no need for cameras set to zoom in on the display with the associated problems that come with setting that up, and as you are capturing video only with this feed, you don’t have to filter out or manage any unwanted audio from a camera feed.
The in-game video on the display is not lost with this kit, as there is an LVDS pass-through connector which connects to your Stern Pinball LVDS connector, to allow the pinball display to function as normal
Installation instructions are included and this should take around 15 minutes to install
Please take a look at the video to see the quality of the output captured using a standard USB adapter for the main display
We have optional audio output kits that allow line level audio to be captured, direct from the Spike II motherboard, using either 2 x XLR Unbalanced outputs, or a stereo 3.5mm jack (all panel mounted) and these were used to capture the game audio in the video – mechanical sounds from the pinball machine (flippers, bumpers etc) were captured using one of the cameras and therefore their levels could be tweaked down independently from the game audio
Full 24-month warranty is provided with this product
