Stern Spike II Nayax Onyx Cashless Kit
Say goodbye to cash, and having to travel to site more times than is necessary as this is a cashless play kit for Stern Spike II Pinball machines, which uses the Nayax Onyx Acceptor, which is easily integrated into your Stern Spike II Pinball Machine.
The unit mounts to the pinball coin door by means of an adapter plate, which replaces the note acceptor blanking plate, and the device is connected to the pinball via a custom 40 way cable and connector which connects directly to the Spike II Cabinet Node board (CN9) directly using the Dollar Bill Acceptor Connector.
Operation has been kept as simple as possible, and with the Parallax default configuration that is provided in the Nayax platform, you can be up and running in a minute, with the Nayax device replacing the Note Acceptor and operating as Coin 6 in the Stern Utilities Configuration Page – it really is that simple. Fitting instructions are included, and no wiring modifications are required – simply plug and play – this kit does not affect any of the coin input handling as it is separated from the coin mech cabling.
The device connects to the Nayax Platform via cellular communications, using 4G/LTE technology and a SIM card is pre-installed into the unit – an antenna is provided which connects to the rear of the Onyx unit and can be vertically mounted in the backbox.
