HDMI Extender Kit – 20km over SM Fibre 1080P@60Hz – 4K*2k@30Hz – Ext Stereo Audio

This range of Mini-HDMI Optical Transmitter and Receiver Kits allow for transmission of one channel of uncompressed HDMI 1.4a compliant video, with embedded audio (from the HDMI stream or from an external source via a 3.5mm audio jack), up to 1080p@60Hz and up to 4k*2k@30Hz, over a single or multimode fibre (model may vary) up to a distance from 300m to 80km, depending on the model variant. The kit supports built-in EDID pass-through which allows for greater compatibility with other third-party devices.

The Transmitter and Receiver Units are Plug and Play Compatible with a discovery phase after power-up, and support HDMI 1.4a. and HDCP 1.2 is supported on the multimode fibre versions and is automatically negotiated to allow content protected video to be transmitted successfully. Single mode fibre versions can still support the HDMI 1.4a standard, but will operate in DVI mode, therefore HDCP is not supported by single fibre models. The SFPs in all models support either simplex or duplex locking LC connectors.

Both units are supplied with +5VDC via a DC Mains Adapter.
